Medicare guidance, in plain language
Medicare decisions with quiet confidence.
We help people turning 65 — and everyone already on Medicare — understand their choices, avoid the permanent penalties, and pick coverage that actually fits.
You don't have to figure this out alone. John walks you through it — pre-planning, enrollment, and the review every year after — one decision at a time.
- 1 Pre-planning. What to decide before 65, and when — mapped to your dates.
- 2 Enrollment. Your choices explained in plain language, then the paperwork handled.
- 3 Every year after. A review each fall, so what fit last year still fits this one.

Will you pay more for Medicare?
Higher-income households pay an extra Medicare premium called IRMAA. It is set by the tax return you filed two years ago, and one dollar over a threshold moves you a whole bracket. Drag the slider to see where you land. It is a simple estimate — your full picture lives in the Medicare Center, where you can go deeper and save your progress.

Good to know
Questions, answered.
When do I need to sign up for Medicare? +
Most people have a seven-month window around their 65th birthday — three months before, the birthday month, and three months after. Missing it can mean permanent late-enrollment penalties, so it pays to talk before the window opens.
I am still working at 65 — do I have to enroll? +
It depends on your employer coverage and its size, and the rules around HSA contributions add a twist. This is one of the most common places people get tripped up; a short conversation sorts out your specific situation.
What is the difference between a Medicare Supplement and Medicare Advantage? +
They are two very different ways to cover what Original Medicare does not — one trades a higher premium for predictable costs, the other a lower premium for networks and cost-sharing. We walk through the real trade-offs for your health and budget, in plain language.
What does it cost to talk? +
The consultation is free and there is no obligation. We will explain how we work, and how we are compensated, before you decide anything.
Is this official Medicare information? +
No — we are independent licensed professionals, not the government. The site and tools are educational; for information on every option available to you, contact Medicare.gov or 1-800-MEDICARE.
